Ingredients

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 loaf French bread cut lengthwise
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  • Lay both halves of the French bread cut side up on the prepared baking sheet. Generously spread the softened butter over the surface of each half, ensuring full coverage from edge to edge. Evenly sprinkle the garlic powder across the buttered bread to infuse it with flavor.
  • Top the bread with a generous layer of grated mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, allowing the edges to catch a little extra for those golden, crispy bites. Finish by sprinkling the parsley flakes over the cheese for a pop of color and a hint of herbaceous flavor.
  • Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and begins to bubble with light golden edges.
  • Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a minute before slicing into portions using a sharp knife. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
