Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • ¼ cup plain flour
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 PURITY Creamy Sweet Potato with Cinnamon Pouches
  • 1 PURITY Banana Apple, and Yoghurt Pouch

Instructions

  • Start by combining the chia seeds with the water in a small bowl. Let them sit for 10 to 15 minutes, allowing the mixture to thicken and form a gel-like consistency.
  • In another bowl, empty the contents of the PURITY Banana, Apple, and Yoghurt pouch along with the PURITY Creamy Sweet Potato with Cinnamon pouches. Stir until the two purées are well blended and smooth.
  • Add the soaked chia seeds to the fruit and vegetable purée mixture, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  • Next, fold in the oats, plain flour, and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients come together to form a cohesive dough, with a texture resembling soft, pliable play dough.
  • Using a tablespoon as a guide, scoop portions of the dough and roll them into balls with slightly damp hands to prevent sticking. Arrange the dough balls evenly on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • With a wet fork, gently press down on each ball to flatten them slightly, giving them a rustic, homey appearance.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the biscuits are set and lightly golden. Allow them to cool completely on the tray; the biscuits will firm up slightly but should retain a soft, tender texture.
  • Once cooled, store the fruit biscuits in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days at room temperature, or freeze them and thaw as needed for a quick, wholesome snack.
