Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 medium ripe banana or 1 cup frozen banana slices
  • ½ medium orange peeled and quartered
  • ¾ to 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter peanut butter, or cashew butter
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon hemp seeds
  • 1 teaspoon flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  • Place the blueberries, banana, orange, and ¾ cup of milk into a blender. Add any of the optional ingredients, like nut butter, seeds, or sweetener, if desired.
  • Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth. If you find the smoothie is too thick, pour in a bit more milk and blend again until it reaches your preferred consistency. For an extra chill, add a few ice cubes and blend until the smoothie is icy cold and perfectly smooth. Enjoy immediately!
